The Springboks, who are the defending champions, surprisingly bowed out of the tournament before the quarterfinals in Dubai.

Coach Paul Treu believes they have an excellent opportunity to make up for last weekend’s disappointing showing and lift the trophy.

He said the presence of the passionate home crowd will also inspire the players to give their best shot.

“The supporters were really fantastic last year and I am expecting the same.

“Any team will tell you that nothing beats the feeling of playing in front of your own crowd,” the SA coach said.

He further said the Dubai failure will not compel him to change his approach or his team’s tactics.
The experienced Marius Schoeman is back in action after recovering from a calf injury.
Scotland will take on France at 3:00pm, wales at 2:00pm and Italy at 2:30pm.
